As Head of International Solutions at WEX, Alexandra is responsible for overseeing the development of all go-to-market product solutions, as well as designing value propositions, for all local markets outside of North and Latin America. Based in London, Alexandra plays an instrumental role in growing the WEX business globally, innovating the offering and helping customers to transform the way they pay and get paid.A payments expert, Alexandra brings a wealth of experience to WEX having worked across multiple regions and products, running Europe-wide transformation programmes, and leading initiatives to launch and scale technologies supporting contactless, mobile, loyalty, API-driven service pay products and transaction control payment solutions. Alexandra specialises in digital transformation, proposition development and scaled operational roll outs to bring about measurable change in customer payment behaviours. Alexandra joined WEX from Visa, having headed up the Innovation Strategy and Planning function which drove the development of new payment technologies for the scheme. Prior to this Alexandra held roles at British Gas and Sainsbury’s, as well as a leading Australian youth tour operator. Originally from Australia, Alexandra received a Bachelor of Business Management at Queensland University of Technology.
